WHERE THE MORNING GOES

Statement Requests Are Not Accounting Work.

Every statement your team emails by hand is time that produced nothing. The portal turns a recurring interruption into a link — and the party gets it at ten at night without waiting for anyone.

Questions A CA Asks First

What exactly can a customer see?
Their own ledger, ageing, invoice copies, payment history and any certificates addressed to them. Nothing about your other clients, your costs or your margins.
How is that boundary enforced?
At the data layer, scoped to the party — not by hiding rows in the interface. There is no view that returns another party's transactions.
Can I turn it off for a particular customer?
Access is granted per party and can be revoked at any time. Nobody has portal access unless you gave it to them.
Do vendors get the same thing?
Vendors see bills you raised on them, payments made, their TDS certificates, and can submit their own onboarding details — GSTIN, PAN and bank details — rather than emailing them to your team.
What happens to queries?
They attach to the document they are about and stay threaded, so the answer lives next to the invoice rather than in somebody's inbox.
Does this replace sending statements?
It replaces the request. You can still send a statement; most firms find the requests simply stop.
