What Actually Slows A Day Down

Not the big things. The small ones, forty times a day.

Bank Entry

“I spend the first two days of every month typing bank statements.”

In Autobooks

Bank Crusher reads the statement and drafts every line. On our reference run 214 lines took eight minutes, and 187 matched themselves.

  • ✓214 lines in 8 minutes
  • ✓187 auto-matched
  • ✓Clear the queue, do not type it
The Mouse Tax

“Every screen wants the mouse and my hands leave the keyboard.”

In Autobooks

Voucher entry is keyboard-first: ledger search, line movement, save-and-next. Your hands stay where they were in Tally.

  • ✓Three letters finds a ledger
  • ✓Save and next without reaching
  • ✓Shortcuts, not menus
Repetition

“I type forty near-identical vouchers and there is no way to do them in a run.”

In Autobooks

Bulk entry exists for exactly that — the repetitive runs that make up most of a day, keyed as a batch rather than one screen at a time.

  • ✓Bulk voucher entry
  • ✓Bulk TDS entry
  • ✓Recurring invoices on schedule
Late Errors

“I only find out the entry was wrong when someone else finds it.”

In Autobooks

Dr and Cr sit live at the foot of the voucher and an unbalanced entry simply will not save. The mistake surfaces while you are still looking at it.

  • ✓Balance live as you type
  • ✓Unbalanced never inserts
  • ✓Duplicates caught at entry
Bills

“Typing a purchase bill means reading it and retyping it.”

In Autobooks

Photograph it. Invoice Crusher lifts the vendor, amount and tax off the face of the bill and hands you a draft to check.

  • ✓Photo, PDF or forwarded email
  • ✓Vendor matched, not guessed
  • ✓GST and TDS suggested
Fear Of The Fix

“If I get something wrong, fixing it is worse than doing it.”

In Autobooks

Corrections are entries, not deletions — so fixing something is normal work rather than a confession. The trail shows what happened.

  • ✓Void is a reversal entry
  • ✓Edit before post, freely
  • ✓Nothing you do is unrecoverable

A Day, In Order

MORNING

Crush The Statement

Upload, let it draft, clear the matched lines in a keyboard pass.

MIDDAY

Bills In A Batch

Photograph the pile; check the drafts against the images.

AFTERNOON

Voucher Runs

Bulk entry for the repetitive ones. Balance visible before every save.

END OF DAY

Into The Queue

Gated entries go for approval. Nothing waits on you overnight.

THE HONEST TEST

If It Is Slower Than Tally, Nothing Else Matters.

We are not asking you to take that on trust. Bring a stack of vouchers to the walkthrough and time it against what you do today. That is the only benchmark on this page worth anything.

Different Seat, Different Fear

What The Team Asks First

Is it really faster than Tally?
That is a claim to test on your data, not to read in a brochure. Bring a stack of vouchers to the walkthrough and time it — keyboard-first entry, bulk runs and Bank Crusher are where the difference shows.
Do I have to relearn everything?
The conventions are the same ones you use: fiscal year April to March, ₹1,00,000.00 formatting, dd/MM/yyyy dates, voucher types you recognise, series that reset per year.
What happens when I make a mistake?
You fix it. Edits before posting are free; after posting a correction is a reversal entry rather than a deletion, so nothing is destroyed and nothing has to be hidden.
Can I work without the mouse?
Yes — ledger search, line movement, save-and-next and voucher switching are all keyboard-driven.
Does my work go straight to the ledgers?
Only if your firm wants it to. Gated voucher types go to an approval queue for sign-off first — which also means a mistake gets caught before it matters.
What about the repetitive stuff?
Bulk entry for voucher runs, bulk TDS entry for quarter-end, and recurring invoices on schedule. The repetitive work is the work worth automating.
